Cleansers

Something I have found over the many years of trying cleansers for my acne-prone skin is less is more when it comes to cleansing. When I over cleanse my face my skin tends to get more irritated and breakout easier than when I just leave it alone for the most part. That said there are times when cleansing is necessary. ALWAYS clean your makeup off your face before going to bed!

Be Balanced Cream Cleanser

This is a cream cleanser. I use this nightly to remove my makeup without over-stripping my face. It’s by far my favorite face cleanser!

Keep Calm - Oil Cleanser

I use this cleanser in the mornings to lightly cleanse my skin and even give myself a little facial massage first thing in the morning. I’ll also use this at night if I haven’t worn makeup that day and just need a light cleanse.

Vitamin Scrub

Don’t worry this isn’t your typical abrasive scrub, it’s actually very gentle but super effective. This antioxidant unfused scrub is ideal for oily to normal skin that needs a little extra help sloughing off those dead skin cells.

Serums

Serums are a great way to add dermal nutrients to the skin to help it heal. But you don’t want to overdo it. I typically use at most 2 serums at a time and let each one of them soak in before layering on the next. It can be overwhelming at the choices of serums we have, but here are a few that I love. I have seen these work on my tone, texture, scarring, and helping to clear out and prevent blackheads.

Clearity - aka the blackhead banisher

Plant VooDoo - Bakuchiol & Mangosteen Blemish oil

Toners and Mists

These aren’t required but they do feel good!

Miracle Mist - This is pretty much what it says! This mist is amazing at remineralizing your skin to help water and your skincare soak into your skin even deeper. Too often we strip and astringe our skin while cleansing and then expect it to soak in our serums right away.
